The T-3 uses 200g Thermolite Extreme insulation and provides comfort down to -10C(14F), but can also be used in conjunction with a liner for colder temperatures. The T-3 uses a Velcro/Snap closure in addition to the zipper for quick escape and comes with a zip-in/ zip-out mosquito net and thermal head cover. The waterproof bottom protects from wet surfaces while the reinforced foot box allows the user to sleep wearing boots. The T Series Sleeping bags from Tactical Assault Systems use genuine Dupont Thermolite Extreme insulation which provides excellent thermal properties while allowing the bags to compress smaller than many other sleeping bags. The T Series also uses a rectangular compression sack instead of rounded which allows it to pack easier and elimates dead space in your pack. All bags in the T Series come with a zip-in/zip-out removable bug net, and also a zip-in/zip-out thermal head cover; Velcro/Snap closure system in addition to the zipper allowing the operator to escape the bag quickly; reinforced waterproof bottom to prevent water coming up from the ground; and center draw string instead of side allowing the bag to close more comfortably.
